Anybody know if a magic gear exists with a 2009 Gary Fisher Presidio?-pics of my bik!

    If so, what is it?

I have been enjoying my commute fixed and I have recently come into a Predisio frame/fork/brakes for cheap! I am going to build it up from the parts of my fixed gear road bike and would like to keep it fixed for now.

Anybody know if this is possible with a magic gear for this frame? Or am I stuck coasting with a singulator till I can ENO it?

Im picking up the frame Saturday so I will post many beautiful pics.

Here is what she looks like

I like this pic off the web because it shows that fatties will most definitely fit fine!

Mine will have drops, fat slick tires, fenders, and one gear till next cross season.

    You need the chainstay length

If its published for your frame, you could calculate it ahead of time
Otherwise you have to measure it
Center of rear axle to center of BB

    Then you go on FixMeUp
and you can find out if there are any magic gears in your range. It will tell you the chain length and gear ratio, too. Sometimes there is more than one possibility.

    Good luck!

I forgot this existed. Thanks! Ill try it again. I have tried it in the past but I always get messed up numbers. Its probably because I cant measure properly.

Ill try this and get back!

Here she is! Im bummed that I will have to pirate the parts off my fixed gear road bike for now. I have really been enjoying riding it instead of my Cervelo.... Crazy huh?
