Anybody on here use MKS chain tugs?

I have always disliked the design and width of the chain tugs that came with my MUSS. The dropouts are 5mm while the teugs are 8mm wide. They work with BMX or aluminum dropouts, but on the steel dropouts they are wide enough to rub the Shimano freewheel that I have used previously. I recently got a smokin deal on a WI ENO freewheel and will be updating the rest of the drivetrain as well including nicer cranks from the parts bin, Absolute black chain ring, and also picked up some MKS tugs for 1/2 price. The MKS design doesn't stick out the rear end of the dropouts so no chance to bend the set screw and it should look pretty clean in comparison. The ring goes on the inside of the dropout instead of the outside, but I was wondering if anyone has flipped them to the outside. In any case, I'd like to know anyone's thoughts, experiences and opinions (can't believe I asked for those) about the MKS tug. Thanks in advance.
I don't know why,... it's just MUSS easier to pedal than the other ones.

they look nice and I like the compact size, I'm considering a set for my Surly Steamroller because the Surly tuggnut looks quite large and I rarely need to open a beer with part of my bike...

I'm using the MKS Kerrin track tugs on my SS cross bike, works well and compact enough to work in real track style track ends, where a BMX/Redline etc style tug won't fit, just kinda expensive at retail.

Agreed, which is why I haven't replaced my stock tugs until now. My wife told me I needed some small stuff for the stocking this year and I couldn't say no to 1/2 price and free shipping. I'm anxious to try them out.
