New question here. Another Zion 660 thread.

The 660 does not have an additional brace to help with disc brake forces. Many of the custom frames we see here do.....Will the 660 frame fail because of this?
    Your imput please.

I've had no problem with my Zion 853... Just a pure guess on my part ('cause I have no clue as to the physics involved with brake forces, steel tubes, etc...), but I would think a custom frame builder would use thinner tubes to keep weight low, hence the need for the extra brace...or they might just put it on there because it looks cool! Either way, unless you weigh 300 pounds, I would not worry too much.
