    Fantastic you guys!

She looks great and what a wonderful gift. Listen to everyone above, get rest whenever you can. My piece of advice - cherish every single minute, saying they grow up fast is no cliche - they do and time is the one thing that you can't get more of.

Love her up man and welcome to fatherhood!

Congrats to you and your wife.

    Congrats Ernesto!

Emeregency C-section? Ouch!! My wife had a scheduled C-section for our fourth boy. It was kinda neat to watch. Anyhoo, you've got a very beautiful child there. Cherish every waking moment with her...and teach her about gnomes! Congrats again to you and your wife!

My wife had an emergencey C-section as well on our first baby. Scary as hell at first because of the unknown factor, but what a rush when you get to see the baby born and everyone is fine! We've had two more C-sections since then, so its old hat now that we are done.

She's all mine. WAHOOO! man! and the privilege to have a girl. Thing is, everyone wanted a boy, and me, I wanted a girl so I could always be sorrounded by women.

I was there for the C-section. Poor Sarah and me were so nervous! EEK! But once I looked and saw a head full of hair, I was so excited, and then, I saw it was a girl! and loudly I said "A GIRL!" and Sarah started to shed tears of joy! I was all smiles, got to cut the umbilical, and now, I have to "make like a baby and head out" to the hospital. I had to come here to finish a translation.

    Congrats!

And say bye, bye to your biking days, at least for a while. It will be 3 months next week since I last rode my bike due to the birth of our first baby. But I wouldn't change a thing. Having your very own child is the best feeling in the world.

    Congrats to fellow new dads!

Definitely a great feeling. Ability to ride with a newborn is situation-specific. I have
an 8 day old girl (Jenna Noelle) and I've managed to fit in 4 rides without anyone
getting short-changed. It's nice to have trails from my door step at home and at
    work. :-)

... and if we just ... Hooray for C-Sections

I was c-section, albeit planned, due to my needing to come out of my petite mother a week early at ten pounds twleve ounces, and am better for it.

You'll never get a rounder head any other way.
