    98 M2 stump convert?

Looking for a suggested set up for converting a 98 m2 stumperjumper to SS. crankset is orig son of strong arm, 8 speed rear. The frame is solid and should make a good SS.

Doing this right now. Using a Surly Singulator, a spacer kit, and a cog. No worries.

I have looked at the surly kits, what are you doing with the front chain ring?

I'm just running a 32 in the middle position of the crank that I had on the bike. If you're running spacers on the rear hub, you can do pretty much anything you like because of the adjustability of the chainline. When I did this to my road bike, I ran the ring on the outer position for cosmetic reasons, but I care less about that this time.
