'98 Homegrown + ENO eccentric rear hub?

Do any of you SS peeps have any sperience with this combo?

I have been advised that there may not be enough meat in the dropouts for the eccentric to bite into in all possitions.

I think I may also need to remove all paint from the dropout as the bass boat colors do chip and flake off really easily.

Anyone know or have a first hand account?

    Thanks

no exp with the eno, however i was able to make a "magic" gear work for the HG. 32:19 with some minor alterations to the hubs to allow them to move forward a little bit. If you have some hubs you don't care much about it could be a posiblity. Though i havn't had any issues with the hubs since the alterations.

gotta friend who has two different homegrown's, both with eno hubs. he has no problems and is fast as hell and rides the poop out of them!

that said, he probably only weighs 175 dripping wet with cinder blocks in his pockets so it is by no means tested by "heavy weight" but he really rides his stuff hard.

    Good job! 99 homegrown

had a 99 homegrown with an eccentric eno, it worked great, I don't know if the two frames are the same but it worked just fine.

I'm going with the ENO. Yes the '99 and '98 are the same except the '98 does not have the disk mount.

    Thanks for everyones feedback.

I'll post pics when the build is complete.

I have that same frame hanging in my garage, I'd like to know how it turns out.
