    69er Monocog?

i got ahold of a spare 29er front wheel and it fits in my Monocog fork. I am getting a Surly 1x1 fork soon, which has a lot more rake than my Monocog fork. how would a 29er in the front affect my ride? i know it will fit my fork, but i wonder that the head tube angle and other frame dimensions will feel like. is this even a good idea??

The shortest a-c length you can manage will work well, unless you like a slacker HA.

I rode my 26er monocog with a 29" front wheel in the stock rigid fork for about a year.

Works great, never had a problem with it. I wouldn't worry about swapping the fork.

I have an 08 monocog flight. With the same 69er scenario. I went to a carbon black ops fork with the same 420 axle to crown length. No problem and the same geometry I had before. I even kept my OEM fork as a back up.
