    68 v. 73 and spindle length

    I have an '00 Hollowtech crankset with a 68x113 Octalink V.2 bb.
If I were to use the cranks on a frame with a 73mm bb, is a 73x113 best practices? Is life that simple?
Using a cog instead of a freewheel, so I can play with the rear spacing, but I'd like to get the front end dialed from the start.

    I appreciate any insight. Thanks.

Life isn't that simple, but your decision is. 73x113 should be fine.
    I see hills.

    I want to climb them.
