    2016's Hardest effort/best SS ride's for "January"

Post yours up with some pics! I'll go first. Just barely made it but got lucky on the Norcal Dogmeat no dab challenge list last Tuesday using my 1993 Klein Rascal geared easy 24x22. Full blown SS stoke is back! 2016's Hardest effort/best SS ride's for "January"-fullsizerender-239.jpg

Man I think I'd be breaking the rear tire loose all over the place with that kind of gearing at 13% grade. That's a pretty good length of that steepness though - kudos for getting it done...

It's a worthy challenge for SS

http://forums.mtbr.com/california-no...ns-993521.html This is the challenge thread to go with a passion I have for Priest Rock trail. Indeed 24x22 is a cheater gear ... like using 32x29 ish on a 26er ... you will still have to mash sections though. The brand new Pisgah 2.3 reverse mounted rear tire with low air never was not a break loose problem but I did roll a few rocks near the top and almost missed making it. Plenty of time left on the challenge so come on down and give it a try? Good to see responses to this and I'll do another for February. 2016's Hardest effort/best SS ride's for "January"-fullsizerender-237.jpg Pic of the 2.3 grippy tire I used. Now on the Lynskey @ 32x22.
