    1speed set up help...Can I?

I've had a few singlespeeds with single-specific hubs but I'm trying to set up a Gusset 1er on a Karate Monkey with merely chain tensioners and a quick release..any help? (I want to keep my old King hub.)

You are fine using your old King hub, but do not use the 1er on the King Hub. The thin steel cog will eat into the aluminum cassette body. You would be better off ordering up a King cog with a wide base and some aluminum cassette spacers, or splurge on a Boone Ti cog and spacer kit.
