11 speed chain on Chris King SS cog?

Thinking about changing my 1x11 CX back to SS.11 speed chain is like new...could I use that instead of buying a 8 or 9 speed chain?BTW Wolftooth chainring in front.

    Thanks,

You have 1x11 on a bike and don't want to buy a $20 chain? Just pulling your leg...but really?

    Thanks,
I'm using 11 speed chains on my ss with mrp front ring and absolute black cog on the rear. Works fine.

keep the 11 spd chain with the cassette and buy a new $20 chain. that way if you ever decide to put it back on you don't have to buy an expensive chain.

Stop asking how much it weighs and just go ride it.

11sp and 10sp chains are interchangeable. You are good to go, assuming you aren't willing to spend the $20 on a new chain.
