    1" rigid fork needed

I am in need of a 1" threadless rigid fork with about 5 1/2" of steerer. I also want it to be able to hold a 2.3-2.4 tire. Any leads? I don't want it to be too expensive since this is just for a winter snow bike.

I have one... Its a 1" rigid tange fork. Its not threaded, and has only V brake mounts. It is black, and in as new condition, with no scratches. Email me at [email protected], if you want to discuss more.

Check with DeeEight ... he used to have a pile of them for sale on the Classifieds. As long as you don't need a disc mount this should be very easy to come by, since 1" rigid forks are what every mountain bike came with for years.

My local bike co-op (CityBikes in Portland, OR) has boxes of 'em lying around. If you don't have any luck anywhere else, call them at (503) 239-0553 and I'm sure they can find one with 5 1/2" of steerer left and ship it to you. Don't know exact prices, but I highly doubt they would charge more than $20-30, possibly less.
