Hey guys! I am 18 years old and just recently inherited my dad's old bike a 2007 Specialized Stumpjumper Comp. Full suspension. This bike is amazing in every way. Such a machine. Way too nice for me! (he bought a new 29er) ANYWAYS My old ride is a 2005 Schwinn mesa. My question is whether or not it would be worth it to convert my Schwinn into more of a road oriented bike (since the stumpJumper will be my trail bike now) If you guys think I should, what components should I use? Higher Gears? Hybrid tires? Or should I sell the Schwinn and buy a road bike? Thanks!!

throw some street tires on it, fenders and a basket or rack, a bell, make it your townie or urban bike....you could make it a single speed if it is fairly flat where you live....or do nothing and use it for urban assault riding
