Turner is world's better - better suspension design (DW link), better wheels and better fork. Don't get me wrong, I like Cove but this one is a no brainer.
Another good point Gemini - the BB for the Shocker is listed at a whopping 14.7" - that is HUGE! The Turner has more modern geometry and will simply rail corners a lot better with a 13.5" BB (lower is better for cornering).
Friends who ride the Boxxer WC complain that they have to service them a lot. Stroke gets harsh shortly after service. The 888's have a rep of durability and low maintenance. I'd say the Turner by far is the bike I'd get.
The boxxers have plastic bits in their dampers, rock hard seals that don't last, and are draggy, as well as bushings machined to poor tolerances, so they are excessively tight resulting in a sticky feeling, high maintenance fork.
