Anyone been there recently? I'm gonna go to the nationals. Is it worth coming out early to ride for a couple days? I have an mtbgravitycard, so I get half off tickets.
I was there at the beginning of last summer on my Canyons, Winterpark, Gramby, Keystone, Angel Fire tour. I remember Keystone was the most surprisingly good park of the bunch. Angel was a good time...but I was SO sore by then.hahaha
I was supposed to do 2 days at AF last year, but fell at decent speed on some plywood with chicken wire stapled to it. Shredded off a good chunk of my hip, and could barely manage one run the second day.
Well 2 days is the same as one with that discount card. And I have a friend to crash with. So I'll add Mon and Tues to my trip. Looking forward to seeing anything new they've done.
They've done a TON of work since the beggining of season last year, they actually had added 3 (iirc) new trails by the end of the season, and there were several more underway. I've not yet been this year, but it is on the radar.
Which Mon and Tues? I will be there Aug 12 and 13. I will hit PJ on Sat and use Sunday to travel, relax, maybe some disc golf. Plus I don't like crowded weekend days.
I'll actually be in Whistler for crankworx Aug 10-15. So I'll have to do this the week following the Nationals. Ha, disk golf...been forever. Pretty good time w a cold one in hand.
