I've ridden a Glory, a Demo 8, and an Operator. operators are great. Very simple, work well. The Giant and the Glory are a little more advanced as far as technology goes, but the difference isn't that feelable. It comes down to what you want. All 8" bikes these days are well built, and go fast over rocks. It all comes down to personal preference and cost efficiency.
question though, why would you prefer a fox shock? I have ridden a roco Air WC, vivid coil, and avalanched 5th element, an Elka, and a Fox (i dunno how they name them, but the top of the line WC version). I've also demoed a bike with a vivid air. The Fox felt similair to the Vivid coil, and the 5th element. The Roco Air was amazing (but I love air shocks), and the Elka, and vivid air blew the rest out of the water. I'm dying to get on an Elka. I'm not saying don't get a Fox, I'm just saying keep your mind open. I really wanted a fox shock for my M1 back in the day, I'm glad I got my shock avalanced instead. It was plussshhhhh. Anywho, long story short, be open minded.
