Usually oatmeal for breakfast and chips and cookies when i get the the park ....read somewhere that raisins gave better energy booster than those sport gels and energy shots.....
If it's a morning ride I eat a bagel with cream cheese, an apple, and two cups of coffee, followed by some sort of cliffbar etc. every 45mins that ride.
On ride days (amd most non ride days) Toast and peanutbutter and banana or oatmeal and berries in the morning ... and coffee. Sandwich or veggie sushi and fruit for lunch... another coffee or green tea. I usually snack on dry fruits and nuts in the afternoon, I drink alot of water through the ride and usually need to refill my camel back.
I agree. All organic peanut butter and all organic strawberry jam straight from the canal farms, a glass of cold milk and a granola bar for when I'm on the trail.
Cereal,...P&B samich,...scrambled eggs,..or some leftovers.
Whats more important to me is that I take a real good dump before I hit the trails.
waking up in the morning with a vicious hangover....I usually go for 2 aspirin and the left over, stale pizza that somehow I got at 2am that was left out on the table
13 egg omelette at Beth's Cafe, party size bag of Tim's Cascade jalapeno chips on the drive up, and energy bombs while riding (5hr Energy max strength dropped into a monster/rockstar/nos/amp).
