And now I wheelie up the hills. I have a Fox40 on the front of my Knolly Delerium and the steerer tube is very short so I am stuck with direct mount stems. The 40 is a 2010 model if I remember correctly, anyone know what the longest stem length is for a direct mount that will fit?
captain obvious here-u need a single crown fork for that D. i go between a lyrik RC2 dh for trail and a 40 for shuttle. which also requires a headset that can go 1 1/8 ---> 1.5.
i would check out a x fusion vengeance if i where in your shoes
to answer your question, ijust look at a boat load of DM and i think 60 is the longest i saw. dunno where tho.
Hmm, thanks. I hate to drop a lot of coin on a new fork when the 40 works so otherwise. I also like the the axel-crown height of the 40 is 10-20mm less than single crown forks of the same travel. (talas at 180 is the same height as 40 with 200mm).
