SO my brother rode MX and used the EVS G5 Ballistic Jersey and said it got plenty of ventilation (of course moto will always provide a nice breeze) and gave excellent protection. I couldn't find a lot of existing info here about it but has anyone used this or anyone have any thoughts or concerns? It seems like some nice armor especially for the price!
I wore this when I first started riding last year... saved my a$$ plenty of times. Looks a bit bulky but it does the job. Be prepared to be called "roach" or "starship trooper".

Looks like an inexpensive suit. I got my 661 outfit from for dirt cheap but while the deals are great there it's such a crap shoot. And now we gotta share bandwidth on with the roadies so that's half as much MTB gear...
Forgive me if this is spam.... but I have a brand new 661 Evo Pressure Suit for sale in size Large. I bought it thinking I'd wear it, but never got around to using it.
For reference I'm 5-11 and weight around 180-ish. I tried it on and it fits me pretty well, but it's adjustable, so I'm sure it'll work for a smaller and bigger guys
I bought one of the TLD rincon jackets when they were on Chainlove for like $80. Unfortunately I chose a medium and it was too small so I sold it to a friend since they didn't have any larges to swap for. It felt really good and seemed to have great protection. Too bad it was a little short, and I can't seem to find a large for that price.
try joining The Clymb (it's free). Similar idea to Gilt, but outdoors stuff. I saw Dianese armor on there a few days ago, the sale might still be running....usually their sales are about half off of MSRP
