Hi,
I am trying to fix a SKS P65 chromoplastic fender to my Trek 4500 D. The front part is tricky with suspension not having eyelets for attaching the stay.
I took one of the v stays and bent the upper rod in center so that it curves upward and I can angle the v stay so that it attaches on suspension fork above the disk brake.
I plan to put inner rubber tube patch on suspension tube and run a cable tie through the safety release of the stay and attach it to the suspension .
Is this a good idea or could there be any problems with it ?
