I got my new frame yesterday, Transition Blindside, and used the bad weather today to build it up! Purple isn't my dream color, but the price was too good to pass up. This is my "suffer up to rail down" bike. Next upgrade will be a new fork hopefully. Gotta say thanks to Allen and Duke at Drop N Zone bike shop for dealing with me, answering questions, shipping it quickly, and being super friendly. Taking it out tomorrow on its maiden voyage!
Is that stock color? Never seen purple before. Looks sweet. Currently building a purple anodized Canfield frame and it's a sweet color. Definitely looks good with black components like yourself.
No, it was custom ordered by someone and then they backed out on it. Guessing that's why I got a good deal on it. Purple is starting to grow on me, and I like that it's unique.
I had a Sette Venom. I bought it cheap from pricepoint as a DH introductory bike. It wasn't a bad frame, I just wanted something newer and a little more "bling".
I really want a blindside. Im using my Gran Mal with a single crown and my suffer on the way up and rip on the way down bike. The blindside is its updated replacement.
Finally got her out for a ride today and it was awesome! Definitely not the easiest pedaller uphill, but worth it for the way down. Smoother suspension and faster acceleration than my old bike. The upgrade was worth it!!
Im jealous ! Glad you like it , well the way i see it is god gave us legs so use them to walk the bike if needed and just enjoy it all going down !! hahaah
