Actually that is a real common misperception due to what we have all been taught by instructors at MMI, UTI, high school and TV commercials. here is some more specific right to Fox http://www.cyclingcentralva.org/geninfo.html By that info you could save some coin and buy Torco which should be readily available at many Moto shops.

I used to use Motul synthetic oil for my motorcycle forks and engine oil; I always liked their products. Interesting how much variance there is between oils!
You are all right, the cst matters sure. Good info on those posts.
I like knowing what brand the oils really are. Torco medium for me next time.
Although I am currently using golden spectro and it feels as good as
new after 5 years..
