I pedaled up Pinal and came down Sixshooter, and I think there were only like three trees crossing the trail. Not bad.
There was a crew from Coconino doing some maintenance near the creek crossing where the big boulder looks like a barcolounger (just before the trail crosses the road). They also sanitized the tricky rock garden just passed the road crossing. I appreciate their work, but I always kinda look forward to that 50 yards of rock garden.
At the windmill near the bottom, I had 22 long rifle bullet zing right over my head. There was good 'ol boy with his 12 year old son taking pot shots across the pond. I kindly gave the guy an earful about shooting over and at the trail.
yeah most off us don't go past the road too often.
