I have a fox rear shock with a open a nd lockout switch. How do i tell if it is open or locked out? I.e. Switched to left or right as sitting on bike? Also do i want itnopen for dh and lockd for uh? Thanks
And the only time you might want it locked out is if your climbing. And that totally depends on how the suspension performs on the climbs, i.e. under heavy pedaling forces, and how tend to climb, whether you spin up the hill or tend to mash the pedals. If the rear starts bouncing up and down as you climb up a steep hill then you'll need to lock it out. If not leave it open and let the suspension do it's job.
