both are good and people will have different opinions why one is better then the other....I think the shifting on a saint isn't as precise after a some abuse...I like the X9's or X0's better for this reason
X0 is a quality bit of kit, however it has a carbon cage, the mrs runs one on her bike, never had any problems with it and it has taken some big hits but keeps running, there is always that worry that one day its just going to snap the cage.
Equally, I have just fitted the saint setup to a friends bike and I was really impressed (not a shimano fan really) the solidness of the mech made me think about buying one! It is a fair bit heavier than the X0.
