Yeah usually a 2:1 is a good place to start. I'm running a 34:14 right now but that's on flat courses with maybe 100 ft of elevation change. I'd say a 17t or 16t should be fine if you dont mind standing up for climbing.
i think im gonna try a 19t. i do a 20 mile loop to and at the trails where theres quite a bit of uphill. thanks.
