My Trek Session 88 was just built up with a 2008 Marzocchi 888 ata wc, and I need help setting the fork up for dh. With gear, I weigh in at 150 or so, and have found marzocchi's recommended air pressures to be way of. Help, please?

i have an 09 888 ata so maybe i can help a little.

here are my settings, do it in this order

par chamber (bottom right leg) = 100 psi
ata chamber (top left under travel adjust knob) = 50 ish
rc3 knob = about 3-4 clicks
rebound = personal preferance. however fast or slow you want
compression knob (bottom right) 2-3 clicks

the main adjustment is the top two air adjustments. here are a couple of rules to follow and some helpful hints

1. always have atlest 30 more psi in the par chamber (bottom) then you do in the ata (top)
2. start with 50 psi in the ata chamber and increase until you get about 2 inches of sag
3. the ata chamber typically affects the first half of the stroke and the par chamber controls the last half, kind of like a bottom out adjustment
4. check the pressures regularly. the 08's often had tolerance issues with the ata oring so the par chamber and the ata chamber would equalize causing a harsh ride.

hope this helps
