So, I decided to lower my Avy in the lower hole in the link when I was at Attitahs for slacker head angle. Appears to be that there is about 1.5mm needed for spring to clear the plates. So the question is, should I remove needed material from the link in order for spring to fit (dremel baby!) and weld in a brace for stiffness, or should I remove some material from the spring? 1mm might be enough actually for the spring.
If I decide to work with the link, will welding in a brace screw up it's geometry in any way?
craig has like a spacer that moves the spring a bit further from the eye, i had to get it for my bike, cause with the flat one it was hittin the link, the spacer is about 3/4 so it will move the spring 3/4" forward
It's dirt, and yes, I have that spacer that doesn't help for the lower hole.
