I am about to bleed my Juicy 7's and I noticed that on my 2009 Avid bleed kit there is a red bleed block and a black bleed block. The red bleed block is thicker than the black one. Both say MY08 Juicy 5,7,CRBN,ULT.
Which one should I use for my 2007 Juicy 7's? Maybe one goes in the back and one in the front?
I guess whichever one goes in and forces the pistons apart the most? I have red ones for a 2005 7 kit. However, I never had them on me when needed, so I folded an index card several times, flattened it, and shoved it in between the pads to keep them apart.
I just did some research and it seems the thicker (red) bleed block is the best choice as it will stop me from overfilling the system compared to the black one.
I had to use the black bleed block as the red one would not fit in even when I reset the pistons/flushed excess fluid out. I guess it's meant for Juicy Ultimate...
