So I'm finally starting to put my bike together, and when I opened up the box that came with the outlaws I saw that the 20mm adapter spacers are missing. Anyone have a set I can get? Here's what I'm talking about:
last time I called azonic to get some sent to me I had to buy the entire 20mm/skewer kit for like 50-75 bucks. I said eff it and pulled some off of some loco's.
Word. I always forget that they're not permanently attached. Whenever I take my front wheel off, they hit the ground and roll away. Pain in the ass. But, if that's what you have to deal with to get a relatively cheap, bullet-proof wheelset.....I'll take it. Really that's my only beef w/ the Outlaws.
I emailed Azonic through their website today after posting this and they emailed me back soon after. I called them back after doing some work and they're going to send me a pair. Awesome!
Nice last i heard azonic had really bad customer service, I've had no dealings with them myself but this is a good sign to me ! I might be willing to delve a little deeper into the azonic goods now... I have a set of outlaws and no what you mean... and you gotta wipe em down every time you drop them hahah or at least should for points of contact sake.
you don't need them if you are running that qr plug in there... the 20mm adapters are cups that go on the outside of the cup that let you use them in a 200 TA fork
