Just wondering what options are out there. I am looking to run a kevlar bead 2.7 tire. I know Intense makes one --- the 909 lite. I am just wondering if there are any other options out there. Thanks for reading.
The terrain where I ride is very rocky. I like the feel of the 2.7s. I was just looking to save a little weight on the front and still run that size.
And yes, it does suck that the timberwolf is discontinued. I have used the WTB timberwolf 2.7 for the last couple of years and love it. It is light--- kevlar bead, the traction is supurb, and it tracks amazingly. They are still producing the timberwolf. However it is the steel bead, dual ply, 2.5. That thing is pretty heavy. 1665 grams.
usually kevlar beads come on single ply tires, and 2.7 is a DH size, so single-ply and DH dont mix.
