The fox is great and the Marzocchi is great thats a hard call, all forks have issues so as long as they are not catastrophic then run em! Fox is 10+ the marz 09 is 10+!!
Id say looks and personal preference at this point. Possibly cost as well!
I dont think you can go wrong with either.

depends which TST cartridge. from personal experience with an '08 55 ATA2 (equivalent to an '09 55 ATA,) the TST isn't the hottest thing out there. TST micro sounds nicer with the adjustable high-speed blowoff and such, but I haven't ridden it. I don't really dig the axle system, either, because I found that you need to keep it squeaky clean or else you get a mad case of the creaks. as far as the fork chassis itself, it's pretty darn stiff, and I'm a big dude (235lbs,) so I think you're covered there. I just found that the damping didn't feel all that great, and I had trouble achieving full travel with a reasonable amount of sag on my air fork. a buddy of mine had a 55 tst2 (coil sprung,) didn't like it much at all, and he ended up picking up a 66 rc3.
matter of fact, I just picked up a fox van 36 RC2 with 1.5 steerer, just waiting for my headset.
having said all that, one model of 55 that sounds interesting is the 55 RC3. sticking marz.'s best freeride cartridge in a lighter chassis seems like a good idea. having ridden forks with top-end and low-end compression damping, you really want the good stuff.
my 55 ata2 is going back to Marz tomorrow for the third time since mid summer. Each time the air cartridge has failed and the fork gets stuck down, maybe 2" of stanchion showing and you can't pull it up. I had the axle replaced when I first got it because it wouldn't click to lock, but since then it's been fine and very stiff, I actually really like the system. The fork feels solid too, I use it mostly for AM but have thrown quite a bit of gnar at it too. Gotta say when it works, it's great, but it's not reliable and I wouldn't trust going on a trip with it. I'm considering the '09 Talas 36 but they are $$$
newer Marz should be avoided IMHO...i am done with Marz and gave them the benefit of the doubt. i see no reason to get a marz anymore which is a shame as they used to be a favorite of many (pre manufacturing changes of late)
I'm getting the 55 tst on my new bike. As soon as I've got the money for a new fork (probably Domain) then the 55 will be sold after reading all the horror stories.
Have you even used a 55tst? RC3 and RC2 are great, TST is a pile of $hit. Don't touch it with a 10 foot pole.
