They're film. I had the shop that made them put them on a CD, but they didn't come out so hot on the CD. I didn't feel like correcting all the colors so I left them as is!
sweet pics, looks like some awesome slickrock to ride.
and props to your buddy for shooting film these days. it's always a surprise when you get them back, especially doing sports photography. I've been known to dabble...

Good stuff man! Actually, the camera is mine, I'm just usually the one who ends up taking the pictures, so It was sweet to get a few of myself for once!
PS: no sarcasm, I'm stoked to see other film shots. Digi cams are pretty rad, and you can get the colors really vivid and cool and all, but there is something about film I've always loved.
Feel free to post em up if you have some cool film shots!
Its been pretty reliable. No problems to date with it, although I think he tightened a pivot once? I guess its a little awkward to jump, because the leverage ratio changes really alot near the bottom of the travel, and the rebound goes crazy, so he's always been a bit nervous about it for jumping where he's not on other bikes. That said, for an AM bike he is very very happy with it.
Yeah, both types have their place. I really like the dSLR for sports work (like MTB), since I can take a lot of pictures without having to process things, and have more room to play with shutter speeds etc.
film pictures just look nice though. Just wish processing wasn't so expensive. You're looking at like 7-8/roll these days if you just do supermarket processing (which usually sucks btw).
other pictures of mine I like:
and some roadie stuff, just because the colors kicked ass in them (without post) it was an amazing day for pictures...
what else do you have? lets make a ridiculous photo thread
Nice photogs, how do you like the magic link on the Kona, btw where the heck do you live where you could go for a ride, I'm from southern utah and even WE'VE got snow!

I don't have alot of experience on the coilair since its my roommates bike and were usually riding our own. It feels a little funny deep in the travel and I think there is some pretty intense rear wheel extension, which makes jumping and cornering tricky, but its a great AM bike

I think we've got snow pretty much EVERYWHERE right now. I'm in sunny friggin Orange County california and we've got snow on the little hills. never seen that in my life...
Did you freak out when you processed this one only to find out that the rider is actually not really human but actually a kind of a tree-spirit (once thought to be extinct...)?

Where are you located? 7-8 is damn steep for supermarket. Since I have no real use for prints I get mine processed only for about a buck 1.50 135 and 120 formats and scan with an Epson 4800 (best not bike related 130 bucks I have spent.) . I have a lot of them done at Walmart as they actually have top of the line processors and the people that work in the photo lab actually know what they are doing.

southern california. it may have been like 6 bucks, but whatever. I'd really like to just get them processed and not have prints (I don't use them either). then I need the scanner. thanks though, I'll look into walmart on that. Most places aren't really willing to just process film in my experience, since they don't make any money on it.
