Don't talk to me about the Durin ... I (foolishly) went from a safe history of Fox to trying something different in the shape of the Magura ... All was well at first until it rained, and then they stopped working. I had them replace the lowers, all was well again until it rained then the got stiff. So they got me a new pair, much better but still a bit stiff in the wet, unless you run lower pressure.,
The lock-out also snapped twice, it's a piss poor design.
That said, they did go the extra mile to sort me out but I got the feel they were blaming me 'cos as usual no one else had any problems - that is until you check the Magura forums - people with exactly the same problem. Answer : turn the bike upside down to let oil lubricate properly.
I'm safely back on F100RLs now which is the right place to be for a DW flux.
The Durin is stiff and light but just doesn't work as well as it should for £500.
