first off, i dont ride a turner, so dont hate me lol, but seeing as you guys and gals are so fond of switching and swapping rocker plates i figured you'd be the people to ask!
ive got a 06 coiler which gives 150mm of travel from a 50mm stroke shock, so that would mean a 3:1 leverage ratio, im hoping to get hold of some rockers from an older stinky which gives 130mm of travel from a 50mm shock, which gives a 2.6:1 ratio.
i was just wondering, in fitting these new rockers, what changes can i expect to see to my bikes geometry. from a rough guestimation in my head im thinking a slightly lower BB and slacker head tube angle... (please let me know if im wrong)
i was also wondering, might it be possible to fit a shock with a longer eye to eye which would in turn do the opposite of the new rockers, lifted bb height and steeper head tube angle? any of you guys tried this? (or am i speculating out of my bottom!)
ok think ive rambled enough
cheers!
