Ventana riders just can't shoot good photos. j/k Marty
ps...can you or FoShizzle please buy a DW Medium Sultan. I need a source for a cheap used one.
My photography skills are equally sucking with my riding ability! I'll blame it on the camera.SSINGA said:Ventana riders just can't shoot good photos. j/k Marty
So much for Aqua's theory that you need to ride the bike for a couple of weeks after endless part swapping to perform a proper review.Dusty Bottoms said:You were right Hammy.
I picked up a demo DW Spot from the factory today, and was very impressed. I'm a firm believer that the first ride on a new design is the most important since that's when you feel all the subtle differences against your current ride before you forget. With that in mind, here's what I think...
Well Aqua also has a theory that there are only 3 trails in the world worth riding, so he's suspect from the get goRoy said:So much for Aqua's theory that you need to ride the bike for a couple of weeks after endless part swapping to perform a proper review.
Nope, my Spot is an 06 with an 05 horst rear end.sthrnfat said:DB - are you currently riding a tnt spot? If so - you'll have to post up on your next ride of your spot to see how it feels to go back.
Yeah, everyone knows the Highline is pedals MUCH better.Dusty Bottoms said:my Spot is an 06 with an 05 horst rear end.
I have a TNT Highline but that's hardly a fair comparison.
Why? It's not like tire and wheel technology stopped progressing a long time ago.lidarman said:So when is the perception of stiffness in the rear going to be limited by the wheels or even tire carcass flex. Seems we should have passed that point a long time ago in bike frames?
Hey Krispy, thanks for the tip! I've got to agree, the z1 light is also my favorite fork. An oldie, but goodie. Where can I get this spring>? and which weight would you recommend for my fat arse? Dontcha just smile everytime you get on the ddub?!krispy@go-ride.com said:Great stoke Hambone.
Hey- I still rock the '06 Zoke Z1 that you'e sportin ( i think)... did you know that a Fox 32 Vanilla coil fits in the damper side leg like a champ? You need a washer to slip over the damper to make a lower spring perch and that's it. Being a larger fella you will be able to runa lot less air pressure. I run zero pressure with a soft Vanilla spring. But i'm a 130 lb shrimp. The fork is back to being my favorite ever.
Enjoy the fall goodness, and the DW life!
Krispy
Lemme know which color spring he recommends. I have Vanilla 32 springs in every flavor.hambone said:Hey Krispy, thanks for the tip! I've got to agree, the z1 light is also my favorite fork.
