Hey I had another great night ride last night. And I'm going to be a biased cheerleader here. I found a good product and wanted to spread the word in case anyone is looking for X-Mas...
I can't speak for durability since it is a new model. But, check out Lupine Lighting's Tesla model. Best thing I can say is: I don't know how I was getting along w/o it. It has great throw, spread & color. It is simple, light & high quality. My night & dawn patrol rides are every bit as fun as day light rides.
If you want to spend a quarter the amount, and get at least 85% the quality then look at the Amoeba - I actually ditched my Lupine Betty in favor or the Amoeba.
The Tesla is cheaper, smaller, simpler than the Betty. It is the entry level light for them. I've messed w/ and seen all sorts of lights over the years. But, this thing is something else & worth every penny so far.
Yep - I use a Betty/Wilma combo and it's practically like riding in the daytime. Awesome for extending rides into fall past daylight savings time. The tesla looks like it would make a nice helmet mount...
I'll second that...I just got an iBlaast II in september and it's awesome, one of the brightest lights available right now for sure, great beam pattern, and cheaper than many of the alternatives.
Nah, we can discuss anything riding related here right ?
Isn't this board about the ride & not the brand* ?
