I want to put on some new tires on my bike (Raleigh Mojave 2.0) and Im not sure the max width a tire can be for the bike. Is there something to measure? Oh and the tires I want are Panaracer Fire XC Pro 2.1 The old bike tires are 1.95 wide.
how big a gap is there between the tires you have now and the frame? that should be a good indicator. if its a good sized gap, you should be fine. if its on the verge of rubbing, you should probably stick to what you have. my guess is you should be fine up to about 2.35 or something

oh dont be bummed out, the panaracer fire xc pro 2.1 is the best tire ive ever used! the tread pattern is amazing and the price cant be beat. you will be happy with them 99.9% of the time, the .1% being if you ride in the mud they dont shed it all that well but thats ok because the grip in all other conditions are amazing, and im pretty sure you can get one for 20 bucks and i think a pair (maybe i saw it on sale) for 35
