20mm through axles require hubs that are 20mm TA compatible.
Performance wise, a TA will be considerably stiffer than a quick release setup. TA's also make sure your wheel stays on when you're riding to hell and back.
What's your current bike setup, and what is the fork you're looking at?
What you'll commonly see are 20mm through axles (big) and quick release (little) setups. i've you've got a little lever that you flip, and then the wheel just comes off, it's a QR. If you have to do any kind of threading, and then pull a chunky axle all the way out the side to take off the wheel, it's a TA.
that dc20 is a QR from what i can find about it on google.
under feature: 32mm alloy stanchions(Could you explain what this is?) and 1-piece forged magnesium lower legs with 20(through axle right?)x110mm( I don't know what this # is for) bolt-on thru-axle dropouts
And if you really wanted a 20mm TA fork you would have to either buy a new hub and get it laced to the existing rim, or just buy a while new wheel with a compatible hub already. Sometimes the latter option is cheaper unless you have a mate who's not bad at building up wheels.
yea, when upgrading your fork make sure that it will fit your current hub/wheel, if not you'll need a new 20mm hub to use it...
