Thanks in advance for any help. Looking for trails in either of these parks suitable for fully rigid single speed riding. I've read the trails here are pretty technical, which for me means cranking slow and getting beat up, I love riding fully rigid but relize it's not for every trail. I ride Fair Hill quite a bit, is there anything comparable here? Thanks again.
Everything in Cunningham Falls and Catoctin State Park is off limits to MTBs. In the Frederick Watershed, the north end (Salamnder and Sand Flats) have some trails with less climbing than other areas but anywhere you go you'll get elevation change and rocks. A lot of us ride nothing but rigid single speeds in the Shed though, so just go out and ride and have a good time.
Thanks! Glad I got that clear before I went out there. The Watershed it is then.
