Hello.I'm buying giant glory freeride, but I can't try it.I'm wondering which size will be best for me.I'm 6' tall (182 cm).Think the L will be good, but i'm waiting for opinions. Now I ride scott voltage 2 2006 size L, but I want something longer. Thanks.
I have been on a large Glory DH and it was pretty damn long. Granted I'm only 5'8" but it was uncomfortably long for me in the cock pit and the wheelbase felt really long to me as well. Regardless the Glory is going to feel much longer and slacker than your Voltage I think the Glory freeride has the same geo as the DH right? I'm guessing you are asking because you can't ride both L and XL before buying?
I would go with the medium, the large frames are super long, giant puts such a gap inbetween large and medium. I find it quite annoying. Im 6'1" and I ride a medium glory DH, the FR glory has a slightly longer toptube so you can pedal abit better
I didn't know that and was too lazy to look up the geo. I can't imagine something with a longer top tube that the DH I was on so Med might be a better bet. Anything is going to be longer than a Voltage.

actually, their TT is the same (the DH and FR) as well as pretty much everything else save Head Angle and travel.
i'm 6'1" and i've been riding small or med bikes all my life, and i ride a large glory. i'm a huge fan, very glad i got the large. if i was doing more freeridy stuff like jumps and ladders etc i prob would have gotten the med. im doing more dh though, and if you like bigger bikes i would highly suggest the large. couldnt be happier with mine
deff get the large, im 5'11'' and i ride the large 08 DH and i love it. but to each their own. but since you said you want a longer bike get the large you will love it.
Agreed w/ the size Large sayers. I'm 5'11" and I'm on a large Glory and it feels fine. I can imagine my knees hitting the bars on a Medium frame but I'm also sure I can throw it around more if it were a tad bit smaller.
There is a Glory DH large and a Glory FR 1 medium in our shop right now... I'm 6-2 and the DH feels perfect. Medium FR: cramped. Get the large.
I got the glory O medium ,I'm 5'11 and it feels sweet!
Last thing you want when pinning steep descents and steps is to feel like your sitting up on top of the bike..could be thats just me

honestly, what kind of riding do you intend to do with it? If it's high speed open space freeriding with lots of berms and stuf, sure a Large might work well for you (I don't know, my Medium suits me like a glove as I previously stated). If you want to jump around, of go in gnarly trail downhill I would definately go with the smaller, more flickable size, since the longer wheelbase of a size L might feel like dragging a trailer around in the forest, while the smaller might feel more nervous in high speeds.
