im buying my self my first set of clipless pedals for chritma s and decided on buying the shimano sp-m540 and i obviously need shoes to go with them on the website (shimano) it says that the m121g shoes will work for them and the 520's so dill shoes that work on the 520 work for the 540's. or are there any other brands that will work thanks
any brand that says the shoe is spd compatable will work which should be pretty much any mtb shoe out there. If you want something cheap that works surprisingly well check out the Answer Palisade Trails They are only $50 at the link i gave you and they really are great shoes for the money. I used them for about 3 years before switching to my sidi's. They were comfortable and lasted through alot...until my boxer got ahold of them that is...
Any shoe that can take in a SPD cleat will be able to do the job, and most of the shoes can.
