I love the Straitline levers because they dont shorten the lever, you move the perch in. This is because if you shorten a lever you loose the leverage that the brake was designed for and in turn loose some modulation (in my experience).http://www.straitlinecomponents.com/
Well thanx for that. Too bad Straightline isn`t easily available in Japan. Anyone know a shop in Canada that will ship em out? I figure while getting the levers, I might as well get the barrel nuts too.

I love my Dangerboy gripped levers (for Hopes), they are perfect for one-finger braking too, but I have the perches set right where I can mainly use 1 finger, but still use two in hairy sections. I wouldn't want to use anything else actually, but those straitlines do look like a solid bet too.
And man, bike components are typically so expensive in Japan... (I lived in Osaka for just under a year in '05, and may be headed back in another...) where are you located if you don't mind me asking? guava jelly typically has all the new hot stuff, and via village cycles in Osaka kept it up too... another cool shop in Nagoya too, but I forgot the name off hand.
i second the straitlines..... just threw a set on my dh bike and had to move them in because with 2 fingers they were too powerfull........sickkkkknesssss
