In my excitement to build my own LED light I was wondering is there an basic way to get a pcb, put (+)(-) solder points on it an mount it to housing with HS directly on an raised part of housing. My thought is to make it easy upgradable, and spend some energy on housing that can be updates along with the LED arms race.
You can make PCB's easy enough. There are two ways to do it 1. Is similar to developing photographs, you basically expose (UV light) the pattern on the pcb, fix it then wash it off this leaves the tracks you want. 2 is similar to 1 but you dont need all the specialist gear.
I have done it before and if you are just making a simple design I'd suggest not doing it due to the amount of stuffing around you have to do and gear you'd have to buy. Remember you may be cranking an amp through this sucker so the PCB tracks have to be wide.
Search around on the net or visit your local electronics supplier (in Australia Jaycar or Dick Smith is a start) I'm sure there are plenty of people here that can head you in the right direction where ever you are.
I'd suggest it may be easier with point to point wiring anyway
