I'm building up a Yeti 575 trailbike. I weigh about 180lbs, I ride aggressive XC/all mountain/whatever I can find on the trail. There aren't a lot of drops where I ride, so that's not an issue. Like I said, I am pretty aggressive, but I don't abuse my bikes.
The first build I put together was pretty basic - part selection consisted of 1 step up from what I've currently got. The second build is more of a dream trailbike build - price not an object type thing. What I'm hoping you guys can do is find a happy medium between the two that takes into performance, weight, and price. I'd like to keep the build under $2000 if possible, and I'm shooting for a total bike weight of 27lbs.
Rather than retyping everything, I just did a screen capture...
High-end Build
Low-End Build
And here's my attempt at a bang-for-the-buck build
Any help would be appreciated.
