My question relates to some of the massive drops I've seen downhill riders do in a couple videos (and whatnot) that I've seen. This'll be a noob question to you guys no doubt, but all the same I'd really like to know the answer!
Basically, I would like to know how these guys are able to ride off cliffs/giant ledges without their front pitching off. It's especially noticeable on the drops where the approach is small/slow. They don't "hop" off, and as far as I can tell they're not doing it the way that the flowmaster vid for wheelie drops dictated...it's almost like they just thrust the bike forward while shifting their weight behind the seat, and somehow this prevents the front from pitching downwards. Any insight would be much appreciated, thanks!
