Did you look on Santa Cruz's website under the V10 they have a setup guide. I went with their setup, but with a stiffer spring. Otherwise I blow through the travel way to easily. I like it with a 550 on the shock.
it means return from full on. So if it says 7 ret for the pro pedal.... turn it clockwise all the way and then back 7 clicks. I'm pretty sure that's the way it is... correct me if I'm wrong.
The Santa Cruz setup give for my weight 450lb spring but for me it feels a bit soft...in your opinion is better more spring force and less damping (less psi on the shock(overcoil)) or a softer spring with more damping force (overdamping)? I'd like to know your opinion, your experience...ecc Many thanks, and I apologize for my bad grammar....

The setup guide says to use a 450 for every weight listed, kinda weak. I'm about 177 without armor/helmet/pack and I upgraded to a 500#. Best $30 I ever spent.
After I getting the new spring, I pretty much stick to Santa Cruz's guide for all the other adjustments, except the air pressure, I use about 165 psi.
