I am looking at the Saint cranks on jenson right now for 175. Im just wondering, how resistant are the external bearings to mud and dust and water and all that. Ill be using it on a hardtail, and when I raise and lower the seat the mud from the post gets through. andybody used it with problems?
ye they will work fine., i eat chicket at golden wok, and it is damn good. the bb works well too, i have 2 of them on 2 bikes, and 4 saint cranks in total.
Also, you may have to service the bearings but it's supposedly pretty easy. I'm not sure about Saint but other brands are easy to service. Check out www.enduroforkseals.com for all the goooods.
water isn't too bad for mine, sand sucks though. make sure you tighten them down well
