alright, some of you know the story, i'm looking for a new fork for my fully, it has to be between 150-180mm of travel. I'm just stuck, because the forks I do know something about, i've heard good and bad things about. I mostly want a single crown fork, but will go triple clamp if needed. the poll is what i've narrowed it down to. have fun.
thanks for all the help
and ohh yea, my budjet is still 300 bucks and under.
Id say get an 03 super t. It's plenty burly and feels really good. All the other marzocchis you have listed have ssvf which is total crap. The travis single would be my 2nd choice but I don't like manitou at all.
SSV/SSVF dampening is horrible. The DOT is especially bad. HSCV is nice, but the Super Ts have very limited tire clearance. I've never had issues with my Sherman.
The Boxxers are alright, but do tend to be rather spikey without modding.

I'll be the one to say it, White Bros is expensive and horrible. Really bad.
I think the 66 is the fork for you. Get a last years from Jenson for like $300. A Travis SC would be good too, but more expensive. For your bike I'd go SC all the way.
Oh and there are other forks too: Avalanche, Mr Dirt (I don't think they are in business anymore), Dorados (impossible to maintain), Shivers... but 66. That's the guy you'll like, they are alot stiffer than Super Ts. Oh and I hate QR20.. cause I broke one (I am very careful about maintenance so all you haters can suck it).

alright all, so I think i've narrowed it down, now its just what can I get for cheap. its going to be between the rockshox boxxer race, marzocchi 66, manitou travis single 150, the 03 super T and then a drop off triple (a friend wants $80.00 for it, right off his stinky, so i'll probably just pick that one up as a spare)

Used super T, way better chassi and value than most of the forks listed.
