Shouldn't you have to provide some sort of identity confirmation before you register to sell? In the completely anonymous world of cyberspace, this is too easy to get away with.
i just reported to german EBAY about it.i hope they get that guy...
i see one who already placed a bid.let's hope they can save him from loosing money!
that sucks, I tried emailing the guy last night asking about shipping and the weight of the bike, ya know just trying to some info from the guy, no responce tho. I hope the Fing ******* gets nailed.
Ya, there are some serious douschebags out there. I remember when some guy took all the lightbike.com pics and put the bike for sale as his own. There is a guy on General Discussions that finds a lot of scam auctions. Some people out there just suck @$$.
I can’t believe how stupid some people can be! If my bike were on eBay I would probably find it because I regularly search for similar bikes and parts. This guy aught to be drug out in the street and shot. Nino at least you know your bike is worthy of sale!
Naturally, this pathetic individual (who I'm ashamed to admit claims to be from London) doesn't know anything about bikes because the listing is titled "Cannondale bike", the photos are of a Specialized FSR and the description is of Nino's Scott USA RC AFD Team Issue.
I haven't yet reported this to eBay, so the listing should stay around longer for all to see.
And scott was making some wierd road bikes last year if you look at the pictures
